Mission, Vision, Values

JASPA’s mission is to improve the speech-language pathology profession and the lives of people with communication and swallowing disorders in the Jacksonville, FL area. Our vision is for SLPs to come together and be supported in enhancing the quality of services for speech, language, and swallowing disorders through continuing education, charity, and networking. We value community, competence, and compassion.

We hope to bring together pediatric and geriatric SLP professionals in all settings (e.g., hospitals, schools, home health, private practice, etc.) in the Jacksonville, FL community for collaboration to enact positive change together, education to enhance competent services, and connection to build more compassionate care.
